A: To find out what God wants and expects from you, you’ll need to have a Bible (NIV or the “New International Version” is very common and easy to understand). The Bible is the inspired, inerrant Word of God, and is your Basic Instructions Before Leaving Earth! Just like we need physical food every day to stay strong, you will need to get your spiritual food by reading the Bible every day. The Bible says that it has “no private interpretation,” which means that any person of average intelligence can read and understand it without assistance. However, to be built up and made stronger, you should attend a local Christian church that teaches the Bible so that you can learn even more from people who have been living a Christian life longer than you.
